Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 12-week travel assignment in a small Vermont community hospital. This role is perfect for a nurse who can adapt quickly, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced ED environment. You’ll join a dedicated team providing 24/7 emergency care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

Perform triage and ongoing assessments for patients with urgent and emergent needs.

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per provider orders.

Provide education and discharge instructions to patients and families.

Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation.

Requirements:

Active, unencumbered Vermont RN license or Compact License.

Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting (Required).

ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (Must be in hand at time of submission — non-negotiable).

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (Preferred).

At least 3 months of prior travel nursing experience (Preferred).

Must have a permanent address listed in application profile.

Must have own vehicle (public transportation not available in the area).

Additional Information:

Small rural community — limited housing and transportation options; plan accordingly.

Weekend and on-call schedules will be determined by facility.

No block scheduling; RTO must be submitted at application (max 5 days).
