Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An experienced nurse with a background in Operating Room Transport (ORT) is needed for a contract position in Quincy, MA. This role offers a dynamic schedule, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts, providing a varied and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Transport patients safely to and from the operating room
- Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure timely patient transfers
- Monitor patient status during transport and communicate effectively with healthcare staff
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, especially in high-capacity or Level 1 Trauma settings
- Adapt to flexible scheduling, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Operating Room Transport (ORT) nursing
- Experience working in Level 1 Trauma centers or high-capacity hospitals
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including 4x10 and 4x12 hour rotations
- Willingness to work some short calls and weekend shifts as scheduled
Schedule/Hours:
- 4x10 or 4x12 hour shifts
- Day shifts generally start early morning to early evening
- Evening shifts range from early afternoon to late evening
- Includes 2 weeks of night shifts per contract period
- Weekends require 8 to 12-hour shifts based on scheduling
