The Quality Engineering Intern role undertakes a variety of on-going activities and assigned projects at varying levels of professional complexity, requiring knowledge within an area of specialty and/or engineering college major. You are a self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment and possess an excellent work ethic.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Document creator / revisions of current documents to include Startup forms, work instructions, service parts manual updates to current parts and procedures.
· Assist with technical writing for new or existing fryers to include TORQ, EP, ROV, Rack, and Solstice fryers.
· Help department with follow ups / service status that have been lacking focus.
· Chain reporting for specific Chains. EXCEL, PowerBI, AMI, and exploring user-friendly options.
· Service Channel implementation to oversee from Trimark/Franke
· Assisting Warranty with claims via AMI/Global Warranty
· Engage in tasks such as process improvement. Implementing a system for service requests go in directly to Parts town. On-line porthole taking out the middleman.
· Video creation and editing for training videos for chains. "How To" videos. You can edit and all aspects of video creation.
What You Offer
· You are actively pursuing a degree in one of the following: Manufacturing, Industrial or Quality Engineering.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals with the ability to read, converse, and understand technical English give you a strong foundation to perform this role.
· You possess strong ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· You are mechanically inclined and have experience with powered hand tools.
· You can read schematics and possess good dexterity in hands/fingers. Physically, you must be able to stand, walk and lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
