Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Perform advanced nuclear medicine procedures utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology in a supportive medical environment. This position operates Monday through Friday with no call, weekends, or holiday shifts, providing a balanced and predictable work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine scans as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Maintain and operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment in accordance with departmental policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostic information.
- Uphold regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards for nuclear medicine services.
- Report to the Supervisor of Nuclear Medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTBC).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One to three years of clinical experience in nuclear medicine procedures.
