Job Description
Our Client is scaling quickly and hiring a Construction Operations Manager to own contractor coordination and operational execution across municipal infrastructure and compliance programs.
This isn’t a hands-on construction role — it’s an operations leadership role.
You’ll act as the bridge between internal teams, third-party construction vendors, and permitting offices to ensure projects are scoped correctly, executed on time, and fully compliant.
What You’ll Own
Contractor Oversight
- Assign and manage third-party construction vendors
- Align scope, schedules, and expectations
- Resolve field and execution issues
Execution & Tracking
- Translate municipal requirements into clear scopes of work
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Proactively identify and escalate risks
Permitting & Compliance
- Track permits, inspections, and documentation
- Maintain audit-ready records
- Provide clear updates to leadership
What You Bring
- 5+ years in construction management, project operations, or contractor coordination
- Experience managing third-party vendors
- Strong understanding of construction workflows and scheduling
- Experience in regulated, municipal, or compliance-driven environments preferred
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
Bonus: PMP certification or experience with permitting offices.
