Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide skilled nursing care across multiple medical-surgical telemetry units in a dynamic hospital environment. This role requires flexibility to float among eight different units, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including emergency department border patients and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac monitoring and manage cardiac drips with precision.
  • Interpret telemetry strips every four hours.
  • Provide medication administration in the acute mental health unit.
  • Deliver nursing care in medical-surgical telemetry units according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Massachusetts RN license.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of two years acute care hospital nursing experience.
  • Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, including interval measurement and strip interpretation.
  • Experience with TR Band and cardiac drip management preferred.
  • Ability to manage patient ratios of up to 6:1 during night shifts.
  • Adaptability to float across various units with differing patient needs.
