Exciting opportunity for a part-time Occupational Therapist to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade for the 2026–2027 school year! This contract position is based in-person starting August 27, 2026, and ending June 2027. The schedule is for 1.5 days per week, with a preferred split of Wednesdays and a half-day on Tuesdays, though some flexibility may be available. You’ll play an essential role in fostering student development, working alongside a multidisciplinary team, and directly impacting student success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid New Hampshire Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
- Comfort and skill in collaborating with educators, special education teams, and related service professionals
- Proficient in comprehensive evaluation, progress monitoring, and maintaining documentation
- Experience supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide the district’s COTA, ensuring best practices
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, and write clear progress reports
- Provide direct OT services to a limited student caseload, addressing a spectrum of needs across grade levels
- Keep accurate and timely records in compliance with required standards
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student plans and interventions
