Job DescriptionAdecco is assisting a client in recruiting for a Production Team Members on 1st Shift in Morrisville, VT. These are temp-to-hire opportunities!
Position: Production Team Member
As a Production Team Member, you'll be at the core of the production process—operating equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a smooth workflow. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will directly impact the production of premium maple syrup products.
Work Schedule:
- First Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Thursday (occasional Fridays as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain production machinery, making necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Material Handling: Move raw materials and finished products efficiently within the production area.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Documentation: Accurately record production activities and adjustments for full traceability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to maintain workflow and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Adaptability: Learn new tasks quickly, apply skills to improve processes, and assist in training others.
- Physical Work: Perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and walking.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and report concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Education & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong reading, writing, and math skills with basic computer proficiency.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable operating and troubleshooting machinery. Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain quality standards and a clean work environment.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting 50 lbs. consistently and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Adaptability: Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
- Commitment: Demonstrated initiative and ability to complete tasks independently.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
