40 Hours/Week
$50,000 - $52,000 based on experience
Hours- Daytime Flexibility in Start Time
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Adhere to SDS Protocols
- Follow OSHA Standards
- General upkeep of building cleanliness (i.e. hallways, bathrooms, program rooms, lobby, glass, walls, floors) on a daily/weekly basis
- Basic general maintenance tasks (i.e. changing light bulbs, painting, etc.)
- Maintain a running supply list of materials needed (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, etc.) and submit purchase orders accordingly
- Oversee Mercy Centre Maintenance crew with light janitorial tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, wiping door handles, vacuuming, landscaping, etc.
- Compliance with DDS and Mass Health Regulations to include monthly water checks, coordinate/execute fire drills, etc.
- Some landscaping/custodial/maintenance at other Catholic Charities Sites
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned
Knowledge/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of general custodial services necessary for the effective upkeep of the building
- Knowledge of general building maintenance repairs
Licenses/Certifications:
- Must possess and maintain a valid MA driver’s license
Skills/Abilities:
- Must be available for off-hour emergencies
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to regularly lift 50 – 75 lbs.
- Occasionally lift 100 lbs.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Must be comfortable utilizing ladders/power tools/commercial cleaning equipment
