- Starting Pay: $20.00 - $23.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- Shift Details: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (Core Hours)
- Monday - Friday
- OT as needed
- Full Time / Direct Hire

Our Pattern Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on the tooling used to mold our cast iron to produce Hearth & Home Technologies’ industry-leading fireplaces, stoves and hearth products. This is an apprenticeship position where you will learn the skills necessary to become an expert in the field. Pattern Technician Duties Include
- Stage molding tools for next day’s production schedule
- Load tooling into molding cassettes and deliver to molding department utilizing a forklift
- Unload molding tools from production and remove tooling from cassettes after production requirements are satisfied
- Cut, install, sand and polish gating systems on new molding tools
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
- Learn how to perform basic pattern repairs (i.e., replacing in-gates, vents, runners, wipers & cups)
- Learn how to identify and resolve molding scrap defects via gating enhancements
- Work in a team-driven environment to move quality products safely and improve efficiency
