Freedom Pest Control is growing, and we're looking for a motivated team member to join our hybrid Pest & Wildlife division. This is a unique opportunity to build a long-term career in both pest management and wildlife control while working with a company that values teamwork, growth, training, and customer service.
In this role, you'll assist with nuisance wildlife services while also training to become a licensed pest control technician. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem solving, working outdoors, and helping customers, this may be the perfect fit.
Position Overview
This hybrid field position combines introductory pest control services with wildlife control responsibilities.
Daily responsibilities may include:
- Checking, opening, closing, rebaiting, and maintaining wildlife traps
- Monitoring wildlife activity and documenting findings
- Assisting with humane wildlife control and exclusion services
- Learning basic pest control inspection and treatment procedures
- Training toward state pest control licensing requirements
- Completing service reports and documenting IPM recommendations
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Maintaining company equipment and vehicles
- Following all company safety and compliance standards
This position offers long-term growth opportunities within both the pest management and wildlife divisions.
What We're Looking For
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, including ladders, traps, equipment, and materials
- Ability to work safely on ladders and around homes/buildings
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Experience in pest control, wildlife control, construction, roofing, or general labor is a plus, but not required
