Physical Therapist
Position Overview\n
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team. This position will focus on providing evaluations and treatment for a diverse patient population, primarily in acute care settings.

Unit Specifics\n

- Number of Beds: 330
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day
- Unit Staffing: Comprised of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and a Therapy Director
- Type of Equipment: Basic rehabilitation equipment, portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, hyper lifts
- Documentation System: Sunrise Allscripts
- Scheduling Requirements: One weekend shift per month in addition to regular full-time hours; current needs are Monday through Friday
- Floating Policy: Involves coverage for all inpatient units as well as the emergency department, excluding NICU patients

Patient Experience Requirements\n
Acute Care experience is necessary, focusing on cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic patients. Vestibular experience is preferred but not mandatory.

- Required: New Hampshire Physical Therapy License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Preferred: Vestibular experience
- Primary Responsibilities: Perform evaluations and treatment for patients

Scrubs are required; no specific color is mandated.
Work Environment\n
This role offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team that brings a wealth of experience from various settings. Therapists will manage a variety of patients with different diagnoses on a daily basis, typically assigned to one or two floors to ensure focused patient care. Shift start times are flexible between 7 AM and 8 AM, with options for later starts. Weekend shifts are self-selected, promoting a balanced work schedule.
