Position: Enrollment Services Manager

Reports To: Assistant Director of Recruitment and Enrollment

Status: Full-Time


Description

The Enrollment Services Manager oversees registration, payment processing, and student records for New England Conservatory’s Expanded Education (EE) division. This position develops and maintains the technology, processes, procedures, and goals that support effective student enrollment.

Serving as a primary resource for students, families, and faculty on registration systems, payments, and financial discounts, the Enrollment Services Manager is also the lead system administrator for the EE enrollment platform, ASAP. This role supervises the Enrollment Services Coordinator and reports to the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Enrollment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational aspects of EE student registration, including course and program setup in ASAP, registration timelines, drop/add procedures, and enrollment reporting.

  • Configure courses, class offerings, and term settings in ASAP to ensure accurate registration, billing, and student access.

  • Configure and maintain ASAP settings related to financial aid, scholarships, and other discounts to ensure proper processing and reporting.

  • Serve as a member of the EE Financial Aid Committee, maintaining system integrity and supporting students, families, and staff with relevant information.

  • Recommend and implement new or revised policies and procedures to support enrollment management goals.

  • Represent NEC externally on behalf of the EE department when necessary.

  • Track student progress and curriculum data; prepare materials for the Graduation and Awards Ceremony, including certificates and recognition for graduating students.

  • Support student invoicing processes for external and community partnerships.

  • Design and lead faculty trainings related to the ASAP system.

  • Analyze enrollment trends—including recruitment, registration, retention, and financial aid data—to inform process improvements and annual budget planning.

  • Partner with the NEC EE Enrollment Team on enrollment and registration information sessions for prospective students

  • Contribute to a positive office culture centered on service, integrity, and community care.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least two years of experience in a college or educational setting; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Strong technology skills, including expertise with higher education databases and systems; experience with ASAP and Slate is highly preferred.

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working independently.

  • Professional, warm, and responsive communication style.

  • High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.

  • Commitment to inclusive, student-centered service practices.

  • A good sense of humor is a plus.
