Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

If you're interested in getting an early start, Extended School Year (ESY) assignments are available beginning July 6th.
Candidates holding either general education or special education certifications are welcome to apply, though experience with special education is especially valued. The students in this setting have been referred from local districts and benefit from personalized approaches and consistent, compassionate support.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in general education or special education
- Previous experience working with students with behavioral or special needs (preferred)
- Strong background in Math and/or Science curriculum at the high school level
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and classroom management skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a specialized, supportive environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-teach Math and Science lessons to high school students
- Foster a positive, structured learning environment for students with moderate behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with fellow educators, counselors, and support staff to develop individualized strategies
- Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet evolving needs
- Participate in ongoing professional development and communication with families
