Credentialed Veterinary Technicians don't come along every day — and we know it. We're looking for a compassionate, experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join a Surgery team that values your skills, respects your expertise, and gives you the tools to actually use them. This is a hands-on role where your skills and experience will be put to real use — patient care, treatment support, anesthesia, surgery assisting, and everything in between.

As a CVT at VCA CAVES, you'll work in a fast-paced, 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Concord, NH, gaining hands-on experience across emergency/critical care, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, neurology and surgery. Our AAHA-accredited hospital was established in 2002 and has built a reputation for excellence, high-quality patient care, and a collaborative, team-based approach to medicine.

You'll work alongside board-certified specialists and a dedicated emergency team, tackling complex and high-acuity cases using state-of-the-art technology in a hospital that values communication and teamwork as much as clinical skill. It's an environment built for CVTs who want to keep learning, stay challenged, and grow their technical skills in emergency and specialty medicine.

Compensation: $25.00 - $37.00 / hr based on skill set, experience and licensure status.

Schedule: Full time, (3) 12 hour shifts Monday thru Wednesday

What You'll Do
\n Whether you're a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or a technician in training, we want you using every skill you've worked hard to build:

CVT Surgery Technician Skills
\n
- \n
- Administers and monitors anesthesia
- Prepares patients for surgery, including clipping, scrubbing, and positioning, while maintaining strict aseptic technique
- Sterilizes, packs, and organizes surgical instruments and equipment
- Places IV catheters, performs venipuncture, and manages fluid therapy
- Monitors patients through recovery, managing pain and identifying post-surgical complications early
- Performs radiography and diagnostic imaging positioning as needed
- Maintains accurate, detailed medical records and controlled substance logs
- Communicates clearly and works efficiently with veterinarians, pet parents and the surgical team, especially in fast-paced or emergency situations
