Location: Greater Boston Area
Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Beantown Builders Inc. is a Boston-based design-build general contractor specializing in remodels, multi-unit renovations, and new construction. We’re growing and looking for a Project Manager who is ready to jump in, run projects independently, and keep multiple jobs moving at the same time while collaborating closely with our Construction Manager and Operations Manager to ensure smooth execution across all phases.
What You’ll Do
-
Manage multiple small-to-mid-size projects simultaneously while supporting larger projects alongside the Construction Manager and Operations Manager.
-
Lead communication with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
-
Oversee permitting, scheduling, site logistics, and subcontractor coordination.
-
Review plans, estimates, and submittals; manage change orders and RFIs.
-
Perform regular site visits to monitor safety, progress, and compliance.
-
Support preconstruction and client development efforts by assisting with estimating, proposals, and project presentations.
-
Build long-term relationships with clients and trade partners while representing Beantown Builders’ commitment to quality and service.
What We’re Looking For
-
4–6 years of construction project management or strong Assistant PM experience.
-
Proven ability to run projects with limited supervision — juggling schedules, budgets, and teams.
-
Experience on projects ranging from small remodels to $5M+ builds.
-
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple jobs at once.
-
Knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and permitting.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
-
Proficiency with JobTread, Revit, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365.
-
OSHA 10 or higher certification required.
-
Massachusetts CSL license preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Why Join Us?
-
Competitive compensation ($80K–$90K based on experience).
-
Opportunity to grow into a Senior PM role as the company expands.
-
Exposure to diverse projects — remodels, multi-family rehabs, commercial, and ground-up construction.
-
Supportive, growth-driven culture – we believe in building not just projects, but careers.
Company DescriptionBeantown Builders is a growing residential and light commercial construction company serving Greater Boston. We specialize in frame-to-finish work, including gut rehabs, additions, and ADUs, with a strong and growing focus on high-performance and energy-efficient building. Our mission is to deliver smarter, more comfortable, and more durable buildings that stand the test of time. Our systems are proven, our craftsmanship is high-quality, and our work is grounded in clear communication and follow-through.
But we are not your average construction company. Culture matters here. We keep things professional, human, and grounded. Construction is stressful by nature, so we value people who bring a steady demeanor, strong work ethic, and unshakeable patience to the job. We are looking for someone who stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and treats teammates, subcontractors, and clients with respect, even when things get challenging.
We believe people do their best work when they enjoy who they work with and feel supported. Faith and family come first. We take our work seriously, but not at the expense of what matters most. We work hard, stay organized, back each other up, and then go home knowing the day was handled the right way.
We are serious about growth, serious about systems (JobTread, Revit, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, Zoho CRM, QBO), and serious about giving our team real responsibility and real opportunity. If you are self-motivated, level-headed, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a team that values professionalism, patience, and accountability, we would welcome the conversation.
