Pay rate: $20.00/hr + 10% shift differential ($22.00/hr effective rate on 2nd shift)
Job Location: Portsmouth, NH
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Training schedule: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) for 1 week prior to transition

Description:

We are seeking a Machine Operator (CNC Manufacturing Technician) to support production of aluminum frames used in LED display systems. This role involves operating automated CNC equipment and ensuring all products meet quality and precision standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced in manufacturing or machine operation environments.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC equipment, including proper startup and shutdown procedures
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machinery
Monitor machine performance and perform basic troubleshooting as needed
Escalate equipment issues to maintenance or supervision when required
Deburr parts and assist in manual assembly of aluminum frames using fixtures and tools
Perform routine preventative maintenance (daily/weekly tasks)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work cell
Follow all safety procedures and report safety concerns
Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Provide feedback to support continuous process improvement
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience
CNC machine experience preferred
Strong reliability and consistent attendance required
Ability to work 2nd shift hours after initial training period
