Job Title: EM Assembler
Job Description
The EM Assembler I works under close supervision to build a wide variety of electrical and mechanical products. You follow written procedures, drawings, and established workmanship standards to assemble components accurately and safely. This is an entry-level role that offers the opportunity to learn and grow in a production environment while developing strong hands-on assembly skills.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to written procedures, drawings, and established workmanship standards.
- Use hand tools, including torque tools, to complete assembly tasks accurately and safely.
- Follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
- Work at various workstations within a large warehouse environment as production needs change.
- Perform basic quality checks on assembled parts to verify correct assembly and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding work status, issues, or questions.
- Stand for the majority of the shift while performing repetitive, hands-on assembly tasks.
- Learn and apply new assembly processes and techniques quickly as training is provided.
Essential Skills
- Entry-level assembly experience or strong interest in learning assembly work.
- Comfort working with hands and performing repetitive manual tasks.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how parts fit and work together.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift in a production environment.
- Basic experience or comfort using torque tools and other hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is helpful but not required.
- Experience working at different workstations or on an assembly line is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliability and punctuality in adhering to assigned work schedules.

Work Environment
You work in a large warehouse environment with multiple workstations and changing production needs. The typical schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, requiring you to stand for most of the shift while performing hands-on assembly tasks. You regularly use hand tools, including torque tools, and move between different stations as needed. The setting is active and production-focused, with an emphasis on safety, organization, and teamwork.

This is a Contract position based out of West Boylston, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
