Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Multi- Family Construction Superintendent to oversee large scale, ground up multi-family projects in the greater Boston area, ranging from $5 million to $50 million. This is a high visibility leadership role for a result driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to building exceptional projects safely, on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with extensive multi-family construction experience, deep knowledge of the Boston area market, and the ability to manage complex schedules, subcontractors and site logistics with precision.
Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to execute project goals.
- Drive field operations, set performance benchmarks, and monitor progress against deadlines.
- Manage site logistics, inspections, permitting, and compliance with all local codes and OSHA regulations.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence across all job sites.
- Proactively identify and resolve field challenges to keep projects moving forward.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to site teams, subcontractors, and field staff.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience leading large multi-family or commercial construction projects ($5M–$40M).
- Strong background in Boston-area construction, permitting, and site management.
- Current MA Construction Supervisor’s License and OSHA 30 Certification required.
- Skilled communicator with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Procore (or similar project management software).
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver complex projects successfully.
- Candidates within a commutable distance of the Salem, MA office preferred.
