For MRI technologists seeking a stimulating travel position, this opportunity stands out. With rotating schedule options (40 hours/week: 2:30–11:00pm), you'll work a variety of shifts—guaranteeing both professional variety and meaningful downtime to explore all that greater Boston offers.
Schedule/Hours:
- 40 hours per week, 2:30–11:00pm
- Week 1: Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat
- Week 2: Sun/Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients, set imaging parameters, and acquire high-quality MRI images.
- Select imaging protocols and perform routine/contrast-enhanced studies for clinical and research patients.
- Optimize scan parameters to suit patient conditions, ensuring MRI safety at all times.
- Insert IVs, administer MR contrast, and monitor/report any adverse reactions per policy.
- Oversee patient and visitor compliance with MRI safety procedures.
- Conduct scheduled QA checks and assist with other departmental tasks as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Imaging Program (certificate/diploma required; Associate’s preferred)
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Advanced MR certification (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 12 months of hire
