Job DescriptionElectro-Mechanical Technician II
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician II, you’ll work on a wide range of custom automation equipment involving:
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical assemblies
- Pneumatics and hydraulics
- Electronic controls
- Conveyor and production systems
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diagnosing problems, repairing equipment, and collaborating with engineering and production teams.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electro-mechanical equipment
- Diagnose issues involving electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and precision measuring tools
- Read and interpret:
- Schematics
- Wiring diagrams
- Mechanical drawings
- Product specifications
- Support and improve repair procedures and quality processes
- Complete repair documentation and service reports
- Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts across the department
- Occasionally travel to customer sites for troubleshooting and repairs
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
- 3–5 years of electro-mechanical technician experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple systems
- Hands-on experience with:
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical assemblies
- Pneumatics
- Hydraulics
- Electronic controls
- Ability to work independently and solve complex technical issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree from a technical school or college
- Experience working in automation or custom machinery environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience mentoring or training others is a plus
Pay $28 - $32 / hour W2 depending on experience
