Picture your workday: it’s Monday at 6:00AM. You arrive, review the approved setup sheet, verify your die is clean and installed, check spray patterns, stage inserts, and prepare the cell. You start the cycle, watch the first shots closely, and capture process readings. Throughout the shift, you keep the line moving safely and efficiently—removing hot castings, trimming flash, verifying dimensions, and recording results—so every part meets spec.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Compensation: $18–$26.25 Hourly
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00AM-4:30AM

What you’ll do
- Run one or more high-pressure die casting machines in strict alignment with approved procedures and parameters.
- Learn how the die works—gates, runners, and venting—and how each element affects flow and part quality.
- Observe both manual and automatic operations to detect issues; make adjustments as directed to keep parts within specification.
- Set up, operate, and fine-tune die cast equipment and all related peripherals.
- Position and clamp workpieces; install and change dies on machines or presses.
- Hand spray dies, start machine cycles, and place inserts into the tool as required.
- Safely remove hot die castings using hand tools, air hoses, and other equipment; trim excess material and de-flash parts and dies.
- Perform visual checks and dimensional measurements to verify conformance; document periodic process readings.
- Accurately record production transactions and work time; place finished product into the proper containers.
- Follow OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries safety policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.

- Ability to quickly learn and apply new process knowledge.
- Basic measurement skills (using gauges, calipers) and fundamental math.
- Comfort following detailed work instructions and staying alert to safety and environmental hazards.
- Strong quality focus—careful, thorough, and accurate in your work.
Experience & education
- High School Diploma desired.
- Some vocational training desired.
- Experience meeting established production rates.
Physical demands
- Ability to occasionally move parts weighing up to 30 lbs.
