Job DescriptionPosition Summary
Schulte Staffing is are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembler to join our client's sheet metal fabrication team. This role requires precision, patience, and strong hands-on ability to assemble and inspect sheet metal components. The Assembler will work with a variety of hand tools, measuring instruments, and materials such as honeycomb mesh to ensure products meet strict quality and performance standards.
Responsibilities

Assemble sheet metal parts and subassemblies according to blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.

Use a variety of hand tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and hammers, for precise assembly work.

Operate and read micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Perform tedious and detailed hand work with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.

Handle and integrate honeycomb mesh and other specialty materials into assemblies.

Inspect components for defects, alignment, and compliance with quality standards.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Follow all safety procedures and adhere to company policies.
Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing, sheet metal, or assembly environment preferred.

Ability to use and interpret measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) accurately.

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Ability to perform repetitive, precise tasks with accuracy.

Comfortable working with small components and detailed assembly tasks.

Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to quality.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, and work with hands for extended periods.

Lift and carry materials up to 25 lbs as needed.

Perform fine motor tasks with precision and steadiness.

Salary info:
