Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with students with mild to severe disabilities
- Background in managing and addressing behavioral needs; comfort adapting to varying behaviors
- Emotional Disabilities experience strongly preferred
- Ability to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Skilled in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
- Employ a variety of instructional methods to address unique student strengths and challenges
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom culture while managing a range of behavioral needs
- Collaborate regularly with parents, support staff, and fellow educators
- Monitor, track, and report student progress toward learning objectives
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
