A registered nurse with Stepdown unit experience is needed for a contract position in Newton Lower Falls, MA. This role involves working night shifts on a Stepdown unit, providing critical care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing interventions.
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:15 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.)
- Every other weekend and rotating holidays
Responsibilities include closely monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing compassionate care to support recovery in a Stepdown setting.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Previous experience on a Stepdown unit is essential
- Ability to manage complex patient care and respond to changing conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
