Your Daily Role
- Conduct setups and manage operations on CNC and manual machines including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed specifications.
- Implement stringent quality checks to uphold our product standards.
- Diagnose and fix machining equipment issues, ensuring machines operate at peak efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production staff to enhance processes and to troubleshoot issues.
- Lead training initiatives to support and develop junior machinists and apprentices.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures while keeping an orderly workstation.
Your Qualifications
- Diploma or GED required, with preference for additional technical training or machining certification.
- At least five years' experience in machining, displaying strong CNC programming knowledge.
- Skilled in employing measurement tools like calipers and micrometers effectively.
- Exhibit excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Capable of both independent work and collaborative team efforts in a dynamic setting.
- Communicate effectively with a professional demeanor.

You should excel in:
- Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T)
- Problem-solving with troubleshooting skills
- Creating and modifying CNC program code
- Understanding G-Code and M-Code
- Setting up machines for production runs
- Manual machining expertise
Machinery and software you'll operate includes:
- 3-4 axis VMC CNC Mill including brands such as Fanuc, ProtoTRAK, and Haas
- 2-4 axis CNC Lathe including Haas, Okuma, and DMG Mori Seiki
- Mitsubishi CNC Grinder
- CAD programs like Solidworks
- CAM tools including Mastercam
- Cylindrical Grinder Machines
