Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in South Yarmouth, MA. The Insurance Agent will meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their coverage needs, recommend appropriate insurance products, and prepare tailored quotes. Daily responsibilities include managing a client portfolio, processing applications and policy changes, responding to inquiries, and ensuring accurate documentation in agency systems. The role also involves following up on leads, building relationships through phone, email, and in-person consultations, and collaborating with team members to achieve sales and service goals. The Insurance Agent is expected to maintain strong knowledge of carrier offerings, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements to provide clear, compliant guidance to clients.

- Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales with the ability to identify client needs and close opportunities responsibly.
- Strong understanding of Insurance products and Insurance Brokerage practices across personal and commercial lines.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Finance concepts related to premiums, deductibles, and risk management.
- Proven Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and problem resolution.
- Relevant state insurance producer/license (or eligibility to obtain within a specified timeframe).
- Comfort with using agency management software, CRM tools, and standard office applications.
- Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
- Prior experience in an insurance agency or financial services environment is preferred but not required.
