If reading a blueprint, setting a Star Swiss‑type lathe, and dialing in a clean process sounds like a great day, this role is for you. You’ll transform specifications into finished components while balancing speed, quality, and safety.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Set up, run, and care for Star CNC machines to keep production steady
  • Fine‑tune machines, edit programs, and troubleshoot to maintain capability
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to define the right approach
  • Perform in‑process checks and final inspections to verify quality
  • Consistently achieve tight tolerances through disciplined machining
  • Work side‑by‑side with production and engineering to meet deadlines
  • Follow safety procedures and sustain a clean, orderly workspace
  • Champion continuous improvement across processes

Must‑haves

  • Hands‑on CNC experience, including Star equipment
  • Strength in precision machining, CNC program edits, and troubleshooting
  • Proven ability to read and apply engineering drawings and specs
  • Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to quality standards
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing safety practices

Nice‑to‑haves

  • Experience in precision machining or manufacturing environments
  • Technical certification or formal CNC/manufacturing training
