Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is ideal for a registered nurse with specialized skills in medical telemetry and pediatric care. The position involves providing high-quality nursing care on a telemetry unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout your shift.
Key responsibilities include monitoring cardiac patients, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and supporting pediatric patients with compassion and clinical expertise. Flexibility to float to related units within the facility as needed is also part of the role.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical telemetry nursing
- Pediatric nursing experience highly preferred
- Ability to successfully complete a telemetry test on the first day of orientation
- Up-to-date flu vaccination required prior to start
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Schedule:
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
