You’ll be our go-to problem solver for repairs, preventive maintenance, and tenant support—helping us deliver top-notch experiences for guests and residents alike.

Your Role

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs across our portfolio of long-term and short-term rental properties, ensuring homes are safe, comfortable, and welcoming for tenants and guests.

  • Complete maintenance and repair work orders promptly and professionally.

  • Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and implement effective solutions to keep all properties in top condition.

  • Accurately estimate time, materials, and costs for repairs; communicate updates and needs to the team.

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on all properties.

  • Safely operate and maintain power tools and other equipment.

  • Maintain and organize inventory of materials and supplies.

  • Oversee and coordinate work by outside contractors as needed.

  • Collaborate closely with housekeeping, operations, and property management teams for smooth turnovers and ongoing care.

  • Interact professionally and courteously with both guests and long-term tenants—responding to maintenance requests, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Keep detailed records in line with company policies—logging completed tasks and preparing reports as requested.

  • Be available for occasional after-hours or weekend calls, especially during peak seasons or in case of emergencies.

  • Support both routine and emergency maintenance needs for our diverse property portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or related fields—experience with both vacation rentals and long-term rentals is a plus.

  • Experience in a maintenance role for residential property management company preferred.

  • Strong hands-on skills with power tools and general maintenance equipment.

  • Working knowledge of general household repairs: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and general mechanics.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Engaging, welcoming personality with a passion for providing an exceptional experience for residents and guests.

  • Team player who supports colleagues and contributes to a positive work environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting, and work under pressure.

  • Comfortable working around tenants and guests, with strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Physically able to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull, and lift up to 50+ lbs. throughout the shift; able to climb ladders and work outdoors.

  • Comfortable driving between properties, including in winter weather and mud season around ski mountains and rural roads.

  • Valid driver’s license required; additional certifications are a plus.

  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or respond to emergencies as needed.

Benefits

  • Competitive starting pay

  • 401k match

  • Paid time off

  • Flexible schedule

  • Supportive, team-focused culture
