Job Posting: Landscape Foreman (Experienced)

We’re seeking an experienced Landscape Foreman to lead a crew in delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and installation projects. This is a key position reporting to the President/Designer. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-minded, organized, and able to communicate clearly with both team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a landscape crew; assign daily tasks and set pace/quality expectations.
- Perform and oversee landscape maintenance and/or installation work (mowing, pruning, mulching, planting, edging, cleanups, hardscape as applicable).
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
- Operate and train crew on equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, skid steer, mini-excavator, etc. as applicable).
- Load/unload materials; maintain trucks, trailers, and jobsite organization.
- Read work orders and plans; measure, layout, and verify scope before and during work.
- Communicate progress, issues, and material needs to Production/Operations Manager.
- Interact professionally with clients and address routine questions on-site.
- Complete daily paperwork/timekeeping; document job notes and photos when needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional landscaping experience, including 1+ year leading a crew.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and installation methods
- Must know: skid steer, mini excavator, truck w/trailer operation
- Must have: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- DOT/med card, CDL license a plus.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple jobs/tasks in a day.
- Basic smartphone skills for timekeeping, job notes, and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enhancements and installation: bed renovations, grading, sod, large and small hardscape, drainage, and planting.
- Irrigation knowledge (startup/shutdown, basic troubleshooting/repairs).
- Equipment certifications and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Mass Hoisting License / pesticide license, CDL license a plus.
Schedule,
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. + optional overtime
- Pay: based on experience + bonus/incentives
