Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Type: Temp to Hire

Location: North Andover, MA

Pay: $23/hr

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team at a manufacturing facility in North Andover. This role is responsible for setting up and operating equipment that converts large rolls of paperboard into sheets and/or coats and laminates rolls of paperboard to film, foil, or other rolls of paperboard. The goal is to produce high-quality products while maintaining optimal machine speed and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery for paperboard conversion, coating, and laminating.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and production goals.
• Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain machine performance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a manufacturing environment required. Experience in sheeting, coating, laminating, or printing is a plus.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must live within 25 miles of North Andover, MA.
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift (training will occur on 1st shift).
