Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Social Worker position is available to provide telehealth services within a school setting in Medford, MA. This role focuses on supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs through remote platforms, ensuring access to essential mental health resources.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and counseling sessions with students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of sessions, progress notes, and case documentation in compliance with relevant policies.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals to appropriate community resources as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate student support services.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Social Worker with credentials appropriate for clinical practice and telehealth service delivery.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical environments.
- Proficient with telehealth technology and remote communication platforms.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues affecting school-aged populations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
