As a Registered Nurse working with the Medical-Surgical Oncology team, you’ll collaborate with seasoned oncology professionals, care for diverse patient populations, and utilize advanced cancer treatment methods. Schedule:
- Four 10-hour day shifts
- Monday: 8:00 am start
- Tuesday: 7:00 am start
- Wednesday: 7:30 am start
- Friday: 6:30 am start
- No weekends or holidays
What You’ll Need:
- Active RN license
- Chemo certification (required)
- Oncology certification preferred, but not mandatory
- Previous oncology nursing experience highly valued
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to oncology patients
- Administer chemotherapy and oncology treatments, ensuring patient safety
- Monitor and document patient progress, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and support resources
