Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide vital support to elementary school students in the Boston, MA area. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language therapy within an educational setting, helping children develop essential communication skills to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating an inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure as an SLP, with eligibility or certification to work in schools
- Experience providing speech-language services in an elementary school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students and staff
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently during the contract period
Location: The position is based in Boston, MA, serving an elementary school population.
