Senior Tax Preparer
K&M Accounting LLC | North Reading, MA | Hybrid | Full-Time
K&M Accounting, LLC, a CPA firm in North Reading, MA, is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Preparer to join our team. You'll prepare and review individual and business returns, support junior staff, and work directly with clients in a collaborative, service-focused office.
What You'll Do
- Prepare complex federal and Massachusetts individual and business returns (1040, 1065, 1120-S, 1120)
- Review work prepared by junior staff
- Use client QuickBooks files to prepare accurate returns
- Communicate with clients and respond to tax questions and notices
- Meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of tax preparation experience
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- CPA preferred
- UltraTax CS experience a plus
