Carney, Sandoe & Associates, an education recruitment firm, is currently seeking Art Teachers for for the 2025-2026 school year at private and independent schools in Boston, MA and nationwide.

Teaching assignments ranging from, but are not limited to:
- Studio Art (Drawing, Painting, Printmaking)
- Sculpture
- Fiber arts
- 3D design
- Ceramics
- Architecture
Essential Duties:
- Design and implement curriculum and lesson plans that build the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively teach students at the assigned grade level.
- Create lessons that build an excitement for art.
- Use a variety of different materials and art styles to diversify student experiences in art making
- Evaluate each student’s progress in their knowledge and skills.
- Communicate with parents to discuss the individual student’s progress..
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master's degree preferred in an art field.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the K-12 preferred.
- Passion for visual art, art history, and the fine arts.
- Knowledge of varied teaching strategies to differentiate learning.
- Eager to work collaboratively with other teachers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S. Work Authorization required.
Additional Desired Qualities:
- Willingness to work with middle or high school students.
- Desire to be involved in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.
