Location: This position is fully 100% remote, it is NOT required to live in Massachusetts. It is only required to hold a Massachusetts license.

Compensation: This is a non-exempt, W2 hourly position. While annual compensation can vary based on the total number of hours an SLP desires to work, and the amount of high-demand shift differential eligible hours they work, on average our SLPs who work 40 total hours per week earn between $72,000-$86,000 per year.

State Licensure and Commitment

We are seeking SLPs licensed or willing to become licensed in Massachusetts, working full-time hours starting at 32, 36, or 40 total hours/week. All scheduling options available include some degree of afternoon and evening availability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy sessions and evaluations for a diverse client population, covering Expressable’s Core Clinical Areas including but not limited to early language development, pediatric articulation/phonological disorder, pediatric fluency/stuttering, pediatric receptive-expressive language disorder, pediatric/adolescent social pragmatics, autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, adult Articulation, adult fluency/stuttering, pediatric developmental cognition.

  • Diagnose, treat, and develop care plans for clients with the support of Expressable tools and resources, with a focus on high-quality clinical outcomes, encouraging client/caregiver buy-in and education.

  • Complete documentation for sessions and evaluations in accordance with Expressable’s quality and timeliness standards.

  • Fulfill all required trainings, client communications, screenings, licensing and credentialing tasks, and internal communications in a timely manner.

  • Provide PTO and sick coverage for sessions and evaluations as needed to ensure continuity of care of Expressable clients.

  • Pursue ongoing professional development through Expressable resources, mentorship, and monthly Grand Rounds with fellow clinicians and clinical leaders.

Qualifications

  • ASHA Certification / Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)

  • Full licensure in your state of residence, allowing independent clinical practice

  • Full licensure in state(s) Expressable is hiring for, or willingness to become licensed

  • Individual NPI number

  • Reliable internet connection

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of post-Clinical Fellowship experience

  • Experience in pediatric settings and conducting pediatric assessments

  • Proficiency with computer technology and ability to adapt to new tools independently

  • Experience working with insurance-based populations, such as Medicaid

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in teletherapy settings similar to Expressable

  • Experience with adult clinical care and conducting adult assessments

  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities (e.g., Spanish or other languages)
