Job Description

Adecco is working with a manufacturing client in Bedford, NH to bring on a full-time Shipping & Receiving Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity!

Shift: 1st Shift – Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $26-$30/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

Prepare, process, and coordinate domestic and international shipments
Create shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and other required shipping documentation
Ensure international shipments have the proper customs and export paperwork
Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, inspect shipments, and match paperwork against purchase orders
Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory information into the company ERP system
Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records
Track incoming and outgoing shipments and communicate updates to internal teams
Coordinate with freight carriers, parcel services, and logistics providers
Package and prepare materials for shipment while ensuring products are properly protected
Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies
Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and other departments to support material flow
Investigate shipping discrepancies, damaged shipments, and receiving issues
Maintain accurate electronic and paper records
Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures
Support other warehouse and material-handling functions as needed

Requirements:

Previous Shipping & Receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
International shipping experience strongly preferred
Experience using an ERP system for shipping, receiving, or inventory transactions
Strong computer skills and comfort working with Microsoft Office
Experience preparing shipping documentation and working with freight carriers
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while also supporting a team
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain a security clearance if required
Must successfully complete a drug screen and 7-year misdemeanor/felony background check

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity offering a stable 1st-shift schedule and the opportunity to join an established manufacturing team.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
