A K-12 school in Montpelier, VT, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a contract position during the current school year (CSY). This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with diverse learners and support individualized education plans in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers to promote student success.

- Maintain detailed records and documentation in pliance with state and federal regulations.

- Support social and behavioral development alongside academic goals.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for K-12.
- Experience working with children across various grade levels in a special education setting.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal special education laws and best practices.
