Cape Cod Café is looking for friendly, reliable team members to join our front-of-house staff as a Host / Busser. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in great guest service, and works well as part of a team.
Position Overview
As a Host / Busser, you play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for our guests while supporting the dining room and service team. This position combines guest interaction with hands-on support to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Host Duties:
- Greet guests warmly and manage the wait list
- Seat guests efficiently while balancing server sections
- Answer phones and assist with takeout orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand
Busser Duties:
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Assist servers by restocking supplies and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and service areas
- Support overall front-of-house operations during peak times
Requirements:
- Experience: Entry level however previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in Guest service or Restaurant environment preferred
- Must be available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4-9pm
- TIPS certification preferred
