About the Role:
Aquila is seeking a Classified Software Engineer
to join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The Software Engineer will responsible for supporting projects in machine learning, advanced autonomy algorithms, mission planning, and the teams accompanying software stacks. The work is executed in small multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and software developers.
There are a few requirements for the position:
- Must be a U.S Citizen- Must have an Active Secret Clearance (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
- Must be within 100 miles of worksite (Lexington, MA) Hybrid - Individual hired will be onsite 3-4 days a week with some flexibility of 1-2 days remote depending on the work being done on the program.

Clearance Level: Candidates must have an active secret clearance to be considered for this role.
Work location: Hybrid - Individual hired will be onsite 3-4 days a week with some flexibility of 1-2 days remote depending on the work being done on the program. Candidates must be local at the time of the start of the assignment and be willing to be predominantly onsite.
Interview process: Initial phone screen, followed by 2-3, 30 minute zoom calls.
