Assistant Field Project Manager - Roofing
Location: Woburn, MA (Office); job sites located in the Metro Boston area.
Stella Roofing Services is a residential and commercial roofing and exterior remodeling company known for craftsmanship, integrity, and exceptional customer experience. We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager I who can think on their feet and is self-motivated. You'll be responsible for keeping our projects on track, our crews coordinated, and our documentation accurate. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with their hands, troubleshooting, staying organized, and adapting to a changing work environment each day.
Key Responsibilities
Order project materials, manage shop inventory, deliver materials to job sites, and assist with project cleanup upon completion
Capture and upload all project photos, P.O.s, and sign-offs
Update CRM with project notes and team & customer updates daily
Conduct on-site quality audits and complete smaller on-site construction tasks (training provided)
Assist with material staging, loading, and shop organization
Maintain safety standards on every job site (i.e., toolbox talks, safety checks, etc.)
Support production leadership with scheduling, logistics, and daily job flow
Perform job site clean outs
Must-Have Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with technology and basic project management software (training provided)
Basic hand-tool skills for small exterior repairs
Ability to lift / carry 100+ lbs
Valid driver's license
Reliable communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in roofing, siding, construction, or field operations
Familiarity with CRM or production management systems
Compensation & Benefits
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience
Health & Dental Insurance after 6 months
401(k) matching
Monday - Friday, starting at 7 AM (end times may vary)
Typical work week: 40-45 hours with paid overtime
Paid Time Off: 5 accrued sick days ("flex time") per year + standard paid holidays
Company truck for business use during work hours
Technology Suite: Tablet provided; drone training available after certification
Professional Development: FAA Part 107 Drone License (company paid), OSHA-10 Certification; sales training available after proficiency in roofing products is established, with potential for increased pay; opportunities for dump truck training (roll-off dumpsters) and marketing/social media content involvement
