A K-12 school in Cambridge, MA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide specialized services for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role is ideal for an experienced professional dedicated to supporting students in developing their communication skills to enhance their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, including progress reports and therapy documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in a K-12 educational environment.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and current therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school setting.
