Job Description

Lexington Pediatrics is an experienced, dedicated, family-focused pediatric primary care practice serving Lexington and the surrounding communities. We are seeking Pediatric Neuropsychologist candidates for an exciting opportunity in a pediatric medical practice.


The Pediatric Neuropsychologist will conduct neuropsychological evaluations, provide diagnostic assessments, and develop individualized care plans for children and adolescents with developmental, neurological, learning, or behavioral challenges. You will collaborate with a team of pediatricians, therapists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

We utilize Epic as our electronic medical records (EMR) system, enabling seamless communication and efficient management of patient care across the team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform neuropsychological assessments for children and adolescents presenting with diverse concerns, including developmental delays, ADHD, learning disabilities, and neurological conditions.
  • Interpret evaluation results and provide detailed reports, including diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, behavioral health specialists to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions and care planning.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to families, helping them understand their child's diagnosis and empowering them to support their development.
  • Engage in program development and outreach efforts to support the practice's growth and enhance service delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an APA-accredited program.
  • Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in Massachusetts.
  • Proven experience conducting neuropsychological assessments with pediatric populations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
