Job Description Summary The Assistant supports the Lead Teacher in our 3-year-old classroom by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children. They must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. The Assistant is responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities and responding to children's needs, under the direction of the Lead Teacher and the Director. Duties

<li>Assist in the implementation of activities and support development through positive guidance</li>
<li>Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to preschool</li>
<li>Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness</li>

 Requirements 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma</li>
<li>Minimum of 1-2 years of experience caring for children in a professional or volunteer capacity</li>
<li>Ability to work well with others</li>
<li>Patient and self-motivated</li>
</ul>
