Position Summary
\n
We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven leader to manage a technical service and repair facility. The Service Center Manager will set high performance standards, develop employees, strengthen accountability, and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and profitability. The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership, sound business judgment, mechanical aptitude, and the confidence to make decisions, challenge existing practices, and lead change.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop the service center team, creating clear expectations and a culture of accountability.
- Direct production planning, scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet customer commitments.
- Drive employee performance through regular feedback, training, and professional development.
- Monitor KPIs and take decisive action to improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and profitability.
- Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives that eliminate waste and strengthen operational performance.
- Partner with sales and customer service to provide accurate estimates, production updates, and responsive customer support.
- Oversee inventory, material procurement, equipment maintenance, and facility readiness.
- Manage budgets, gross margin, and P&L performance with an ownership mindset.
- Build a collaborative, high-performing workplace focused on continuous growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
\n

- Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial service, repair, or operations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, hold employees accountable, manage conflict, and develop future leaders.
- Strong decision-making skills, urgency, and confidence challenging the status quo.
- Experience managing production schedules, KPIs, budgets, and operational performance.
- Strong business and financial acumen, including an understanding of profitability, gross margin, and P&L.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with machinery, technical products, or industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement practices preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field preferred.
