Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in New Hampshire is seeking up to 10 dedicated Special Education Teachers to support students ranging from Pre-K through high school. These full-time contract positions offer an opportunity to work within a dynamic K-12 environment, focusing on delivering specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
Location:
- Positions available in Rochester, NH, and surrounding areas
- Pre-K, middle school, and high school openings
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Utilize specialized instructional strategies and resources to enhance learning outes
- Monitor and document student performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Maintain pliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications:
- NH Special Education Certification required
- Early Childhood Certification required for Pre-K positions
- Candidates currently certified in other states who are eligible for NH certification will be considered
- Experience working with students across multiple grade levels is preferred
- Strong munication and organizational skills
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration for the current school year (CSY)
