A Special Education teaching opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Claremont, NH, with a contract running through June 12, 2026. This role involves supporting students with disabilities in a virtual learning environment, emphasizing individualized instruction and behavioral supports to promote academic progress and positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using the NHSEIS data system.
  • Collaborating virtually with teachers, parents, and service providers through platforms such as Canvas and Zoom.
  • Utilizing data and behavior-tracking tools like Panorama to monitor student progress.
  • Ensuring compliance with New Hampshire special education laws and regulations, including IDEA.
  • Assessing and supporting students with behavioral and affective disorders.
  • Providing positive behavioral supports in both group and individual settings.
  • Conducting observations and preparing reports on student learning behaviors.
  • Working collaboratively with school administrators, colleagues, families, and community members.

Qualified candidates must meet all state certification requirements and possess prior experience as a New Hampshire virtual special education case manager. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local special education mandates, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, is essential.

The position offers up to 37.5 hours per week and a contract duration through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
