Machine Technician 3rd shift

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator
- Operate and set up production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Must be capable of operating the case making cell auxiliary equipment will includes the following:

- in-line slitters
- hot stamps
- labeling
- cutting and date coding .
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
- Fills out all required paperwork and enters receipts qualities in the SAP
Requirements of the Machine Operator - Ability to move around the production floor and sit or stand for the entire shift, based on production needs.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a similar role or related training is preferred.
- Willingness to wear safety glasses and hearing protection during shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including Saturdays, as required.
Compensation/Benefits for the Machine Operator - Position Type: Temp-to-hire
- Pay: $21/HR with $1.50 shift differential
- Union dues are required of all non-manager employees on the production floor, including our client's team members. This is $25 a week for the first 4 weeks of work and then drops to $13.20 a week for every week after that.
- Background Check: Conducted upon conversion to full-time employment
- Drug Screen required
- Client will be interviewing for this role
- Training:

- Will train on 1st or 3rd shift for 2 weeks then move to 3rd shift and training is complete.
